We are now accepting applications for all of our coaching positions for the 2017/18 school year. All potential new coaches as well as coaches who would like to return are asked to send a resume with relevant experience as well as a cover letter detailing coaching philosophy and plans for the season.
Applications will be collected throughout the summer and again in the fall. Please send applications to Allister Smith email@example.com. Thanks to all who are interested in volunteering your time for our students!
Please be advised that there will be no classes at Queen Charlotte Intermediate School on Thursday, May 11th. This will allow students and staff the opportunity to attend the funeral of a Queen Charlotte Intermediate student. Counselling services can be made available at the school on Thursday, May 11th by contacting the main office at 902-368-6970. Families are asked to make their own arrangements for their son or daughter should they wish to attend the funeral.
Students, Teachers and Parents/Guardians across PEI are participating in the OurSCHOOL Survey during May 2017.
Please note that our Parent/Guardian Survey will be open from May 8th – May 21st, 2017. We invite you to complete the survey during the next two weeks. Our school staff will complete the survey during the same time frame.
Our students will begin the survey this week during classes. If you do not want your son/daughter to complete the survey, please visit our school website, print the waiver, and bring it to the school main office.
The information collected through this survey will provide current information about our school and learning, will help us to inform our school goals, identify successes and areas for improvement, help inform policies and programs, and share results with parents and the community.
The survey allows you to express your views about your child’s experiences at home and at school.
– The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete.
– Your responses should be based on this current 2016-2017 school year.
– If you have more than one child in our school, you may complete the survey more than once.
– Your responses are anonymous and confidential as they are recorded on a secure site without personal identifying information.
– You may skip any questions you do not wish to answer.
The link to the survey is: http://www.ourschool.net/qcschool2017
Results will be used only for the purpose of achieving goals in our school and the PEI education system. The information is collected under Section 31 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and under Section 3.1(c) of the Education Act.
For more information about the OurSCHOOL Survey program, you can visit our school website: https://queencharlotteintermediate.wordpress.com/ or The Learning Bar Inc.’s website: http://www.thelearningbar.com.
