Yearbook orders were taken during parent teacher interviews and from November 28-Dec 1 in school. The online store is available until December 31. At that time, no more orders will be taken. We only bring in the number of yearbooks that have been ordered, and in the past, we have had students disappointed when they have not received them. We encourage all students who might be interested in a yearbook to place their orders right away. Cost is $30 – unchanged from the past few years. The QC yearbook is ranked as one of the best in Atlantic Canada, and has received ‘first place standing’ Nationally for the past two years.
Online orders can be made at http://ybstore.friesens.com/stores/326675

The current weather forecast indicates that there is a blowing snow advisory in effect for all of P.E.I., with winds expected to increase between 6 and 7 PM. This is expected to result in poor visibility and hazardous travel conditions.
As a result of the above:
1) All After School Student Related Activities are canceled for this evening.
2) In consultation with the Department of Education, all Parent Teacher Interviews schedule for this evening are to be postponed for one week to next Thursday, November 29. Parents who are unable to accommodate Nov 29 should make alternative arrangements with the school.
Daily Announcements – Thursday, November 22, 2018 – Day 2 Monitor duty today: 9G – Ms. Whittaker Cormier

Grade 7 Intramural Floor Hockey today at 12:40 in the gym.
This week, permission forms are being distributed for Take our Kids To Work Day. This national event happens on Wednesday November 14th, and provides grade 9 students with the opportunity to experience a day in the work world. Students are encouraged to seek out a work placement for the day with a family member, or friend.
If students could have their completed permission forms returned to their home room teacher by Friday October 26th, this will give us an idea of participation levels, and help us in planning alternate activities for students who may not be able to find a work site for the day.
If there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks very much,
Vice Principal (Grade 9)
Queen Charlotte Intermediate
